Sir Yes Sir!

Who is this Kid?  Did he just get back from Iraq or reform-school.  He is big {6’6″}, yet polite, apprehensive, and respectful toward me.  he starts and ends his speech with sir.  He says weird stuff like please and thank-you.  He will work for six dollars an hour.  I think I am having a wet dream!  so before I awake and loose this young {18yrs} man child.  I hire him on the spot.  I dont know if he is leagle or not.  Jimmy Crack Corn and I dont care!  Part of me wonders if this kid is to good to be true.  I tell him to quit calling me sir.  Just call me by my first name.  He tells me thank-you and calls me Sir once more before exitting my office.  I smile and think to my self you don’t have to call me sir.  Just call me master.  I am feeling to giddy to be ashamed of that at the moment.

Southern Pride or Southern Hate?

I just love Driving by the Warehouse Tavern on Warehouse road in Oakridge Tennessee.  The view of that great Confederate flag flying proudly in the parking lot makes me greatful to be a citizen of planet earth.
